Gain Peace Powered Productivity in your Workday
5-Week Series Begins September 14th
Many of us today experience at least one of these:
For 1,800 years, monks have built a workday that doesn’t cost them their peace. Now you can too.
Start Working With PeaceFrom the Community
“Thanks to the app, I no longer go on Instagram at work”
“It gives me accountability to do the things I want to do”
“The daily commitments and app blocking have helped me to develop a more peaceful and prayer-centered day”
“Having the list combined with time blocking lowers my anxiety”
“Monk Mindset has been the most powerful tool to help me structure my day”
“Monk Mindset makes complex spirituality practical so I can implement it in my life”
“I’m not tempted to scroll because I know that block is there”
“It’s fantastic how much more productive I’ve become”
You don’t have to trade peace for work.
In five weeks, learn:
01
Reflect on what the work is actually for, take one line of the Rule of St. Benedict into your Monday, and put your first focus block on the calendar.
02
Decide what belongs on your screen and what does not, build a day with room for deep work, and learn a one-minute prayer for before the meeting you are dreading.
03
Learn how to lead with dignity, tips for collaborative work, and building a healthy office culture — including what to do about the coworker who is testing you.
04
Take a real lunch away from the screen, put the phone out of reach for one afternoon, and learn a short prayer to pray on a break.
05
Finish at a fixed time, set tomorrow up before you close the laptop, and hand the rest over instead of carrying it home.
A five-minute session each weekday, and something you can put into practice right away.
01
Block the first hour, the deep-work stretch, a real lunch and a fixed finish — a day you designed rather than one that happened to you.
02
One minute each, for the hinge points of the day: starting work, before a hard meeting, on a break, and at the end.
03
A line of the Rule of St. Benedict each week, and what it asks of an ordinary Tuesday.
04
A monk’s tips for tabs, notifications, the surface of your desk and the phone in your pocket. Small changes, all of them doable today.
